The Manhart Family

(Brian, Jennifer, Joseph, Claire, Luke & Eli)

Brian believes the world has become overstimulated & distracted. He's spent decades creating the ideal experience to lead others into their best life yet through youth camping, retreats, speaking, writing, coaching and now RV experiences. He is known as "The Encourager" and lives each day like it is his last.

Brian and his wife, Jennifer, have four children: Joseph, Claire and Luke and Eli. They raise their family on one very basic principal: Be Kind, Love Always & Remain Encouraged.

In addition to biking, hiking, baseball, basketball, volleyball and the outdoors, Brian and Jennifer enjoy time together with their family as much as anything!

We're grateful for the positive influence Matt has had on so many young people as a school student resource officer. He continues to train officers when he is not manicuring lawns at Lone Oak.

Lone Oak Vision, Mission & Values

Our Guest Experience...

Every guest interaction, direct and indirect, will reflect our core values and mission. Every moment will inspire authenticity, commitment to one another, encouragement, and a genuine interest in engaging in positive progress.

Our Mission...

We celebrate every young heart so that they may bravely embrace their own authentic adventure.

Our Values...

  • #1. We Value Every Soul

Value them like a son, daughter, mother and father.

Every person holds inherent dignity and distinct gifts. We honor intrinsic value by helping them uncover their abilities, encouraging their God-given uniqueness, and by celebrating the rare individual they are—no achievements or conformity required. Everyone is significant & extraordinarily valuable, and we treat them that way.     “I am grateful for you, not your accomplishments or achievements, just you.

  • #2. We Create a Trusting Culture

    Create Security Through Trust

People require security in order to live their authentic identity. With hospitable hearts and healthy relationships, we create beautiful, secure (engaging) environments that give everyone permission to be themselves. We commit to trustworthiness so that individuals, leaders, children, and families feel safe, free, and welcomed.     “You be you….it’s plenty. Anything more or less wouldn't feel right.”

  • #3. We Play

Play Like a Kid at Heart

We. Play. Hard. We laugh uninhibited. We dance without fear. We sing ‘til our lungs run out. We feel safe and valued. We then experience the joy of unrestrained fun. We’re not concerned with what others approve of - we delight in wonder…in the joyous encounters that create lifelong friendships.

  • #4. We Know Ourselves

    Know and Become Yourself

We learn about ourselves through personal engagement. Asking questions. Listening to others. We’re playfully unpretentious and removed from the world’s distractions. We create a community where people shed expectations and dive deeper into the core of their own self. We get rid of the excess so people can come to authentically, and without reservation, know, become and love themselves.

  • #5. We Lead Courageously

Lead like the World depends on it…because it does.

We embrace our core identity and showcase the fearless leader that impacts the world. We set an example of boldness. We encourage others to take chances. We color outside the lines. We know who we are, and we courageously pursue who we can become: leaders with relentless spirits who try new things, fight for what’s right, and advocate for others.

  • #6. We Freely Give and Receive Love

To Love is to Actually Live.

We were created to give and receive love. When we have the chance to offer love, we do not hesitate or withhold our kindness. In receiving, we allow ourselves to trust others and be vulnerable, even when there is a challenge associated with this process. This ever-growing cycle of mutual compassion fosters tenderness, confidence, and a flourishing community that nurtures everyone.
