Deschain Cellars is a unique winery built out of 10 decommissioned shipping containers. This growing North Texas winery offers tastings, wines by the glass and bottle, light food and live music. It sits in historic downtown Gainesville and can host dinners, events and group gatherings. The winery is self-classified as an “Old World” wine style
4R Ranch and Vineyard

4R Ranch and Vineyard has two locations: one in Muenster and one in McKinney. The one in Muenster offers wine tastings, winery tours and a full menu from Camo Cafe. Wine tastings include a souvenir glass for an extra cost alongside four different wines. 4R Ranch and Vineyard also has some great views of North Texas.

Arche Winery and Vineyard sits in North Texas’s Red River Valley. The tasting room is set in the middle of the vineyard, offering some great views. You can also experience some tasting rooms as well as tours of this Texas vineyard. There is also a menu with some great dishes and desserts. The tour will teach you about the history of this Texas winery and the winemaking process.

Like many of the other North Texas wineries, Blue Ostrich is family-owned. It used to be a site for ostrich breeding and ranching, though there still are some ostriches on the property. Blue Ostrich also offers wine tastings and tours along with some light food options and a souvenir glass. Be sure to schedule ahead.
