Lone Oak RV Ranch and Retreat near Gainesville, TX

We were in a small tear drop camper. They put us really close to a building on the property by the cabins, to be near the shower and restroom. Everything was clean. The staff and owner were nice and made sure we were in a good spot. Wish we could have stayed longer to swim and visit the place.

We had a family reunion and it had plenty of room and things to do.

We had a large family reunion here and it was really lovely. The rooms are nice and large, with cute decor. We will absolutely be back next year!

Some places just have a certain feeling the moment you arrive — Lone Oak RV Ranch & Retreat is one of those places. The setting is peaceful and welcoming, and the people I met there were genuinely kind and easy to talk to. You can feel that the new ownership really cares about creating something meaningful here — not just a place to stay, but a place where people can gather, relax, and connect. There’s a sense of excitement and possibility in the air, like this is a place that’s going to grow into something really special over time. And I have to talk about the pizza… Chef David made what might honestly be the best crust I’ve ever had. It was so flavorful and perfectly done that it stood out all by itself. I left feeling hopeful and excited to see what Lone Oak Retreat becomes in the years ahead. If you enjoy discovering places with heart, good people, and a relaxed atmosphere, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

During our year-and-a-month-long stay, my two kids and I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service from the staff and management. The ranch boasts breathtaking views and an array of amenities, including an in-ground pool, animal zoo area, laundry room, walking trails, and a western-style chapel, etc. Rv park my kids enjoyed playing with other children in Rv park and made amazing friends there. I am going to miss this ranch so much as my kids and I have now moved from this refreshing moment to breath Ranch at Lone Oak Ranch & Retreat.

What a special place this is! You can feel the warmth and positivity take over the moment you step on to the property. The staff are so helpful and friendly and the food is fantastic! If you want a place to get away and reset, this is the place for you! We love Lone Oak!

As foreign travelers wanting to discover Texas, we were looking for a welcoming, authentic, and relaxing place. Lone Oak turned out to be the perfect spot, matching all our expectations. including an affordable price (which is not always the case with other ranches). We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and had the chance to chat with Brian the owner of the place, who was just as kind and welcoming. The breakfast, the pool, the typical cowboy/western décor, all set in a calm and green environment, made our stay truly enjoyable. A special mention for the farm with animals -especially the cute kittens! This place is a must-visit, and we recommend it wholeheartedly.
