Our primitive RV sites offer a simple, more rustic camping experience with plenty of open space and room to relax. “Primitive” means these sites provide a more basic setup than our full hookup RV sites, making them ideal for self-contained RVs and campers who enjoy a quieter, nature-focused stay. Our primitive RV sites give self-contained rigs a quiet spot on the ranch, with shade trees, plenty of elbow room, and starry Texas nights you'll remember. With 30 sites to choose from, there's space for a weekend caravan, a rally, or one traveler chasing peace and quiet, and you're still welcome to use everything on the property: the swimming pool, four stocked fishing ponds, the wooded hiking trail, dog park, animal farm, pickleball court, laundry room, cafe, and the 3,200 square foot tornado shelter. Premium Wi-Fi reaches across the grounds. We're on FM 372 in Gainesville, minutes from Lake Ray Roberts, downtown antique shops, and the wineries and horse country of North Texas. Bring the rig, the horses, and the whole crew, and book your primitive site early for holiday weekends and event dates when the ranch fills up fast. Guests looking for a simpler outdoor experience can also enjoy our tent camping sites, perfect for reconnecting with nature in a quiet and peaceful setting.
