Lone Oak RV Ranch and Retreat sits on FM 372 outside Gainesville, roughly 40 minutes up I-35 from downtown Denton, so a UNT football game, a concert on the Square, or a workday in Denton is a simple there-and-back.
Come home to open pasture, oak shade and four stocked fishing ponds you can walk to with a rod before dinner. Sites offer 30 and 50 amp hookups, and primitive RV sites are available if you'd rather be tucked farther out. Not towing? The motel rooms and summer camp style cabins work well for family members joining you, and horses are welcome with a stall barn and outdoor equine pens on the property.
Days fill up fast between the swimming pool, the pickleball court, the covered artificial turf area, the dog park and the wooded hiking trail. Kids gravitate to the animal farm. During our year-and-a-month-long stay, my two kids and I had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service from the staff and management. The ranch boasts breathtaking views and an array of amenities, including an in-ground pool, animal zoo area, laundry room, walking trails, and a western-style chapel, etc. Rv park my kids enjoyed playing with other children in Rv park and made amazing friends there. I am going to miss this ranch so much as my kids and I have now moved from this refreshing moment to breath Ranch at Lone Oak Ranch & Retreat.

Lone Oak turned out to be the perfect spot, matching all our expectations. including an affordable price (which is not always the case with other ranches). We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and had the chance to chat with Brian the owner of the place, who was just as kind and welcoming.
The breakfast, the pool, the typical cowboy/western décor, all set in a calm and green environment, made our stay truly enjoyable. A special mention for the farm with animals -especially the cute kittens!
This place is a must-visit, and we recommend it wholeheartedly.
